> the basics

What is Mitryxa Browser, in one sentence?

It's a brand-new computer that lives in your browser tab. You click Launch, you get a fresh Linux desktop with the browser of your choice, and when you click End the whole thing is destroyed. Nothing about the websites you visited touches your real device.

How is this different from Incognito mode?

Incognito just hides your local history. Websites can still install tracking cookies, fingerprint your real browser, drop malware, or trace you back to your IP. Mitryxa runs everything in a separate computer in our cloud. That computer doesn't share a hard drive with you, doesn't run your extensions, doesn't have your accounts, and gets thrown away the moment you close it. Different category entirely.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It runs in any modern browser — Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox, on a laptop, phone, or tablet. There's no app to download, no extension to add, no driver, nothing. You sign in, click Launch, and a remote desktop appears in your tab.

Which browser will I be using inside the session?

Whichever you pick. We have Firefox, Google Chrome, Chromium, Brave, Microsoft Edge, Vivaldi, Tor Browser, and even VS Code (the Dev pack) ready to launch. Each is a fresh install with no extensions, no logins, no history.

> safety

Is it actually safe to click the link inside Mitryxa?

Yes. The link runs in our cloud, on a Linux machine with no connection to your real device. Even if it's a virus, an exploit, or a fake login page, the worst case is it ruins our throwaway machine — which gets destroyed in a few minutes anyway. Your computer, your accounts, your saved passwords are never exposed.

Can the website see my real IP address?

No. They see our cloud's IP. From their side it looks like the request came from a server in Virginia (US East) or Frankfurt (Europe), depending on which region you picked. If you want even more anonymity, pick the Tor browser — every request goes through the Tor network on top of that.

Is anything saved between sessions?

No. By default the entire desktop is destroyed every time you click End. New session = new computer = no history, no cookies, no downloads, no logins. Persistent profiles is an opt-in paid add-on for power users who explicitly want their bookmarks and saved logins to follow them.

Can Mitryxa see what I'm doing inside the session?

No. We don't log URLs, keystrokes, or page contents — we couldn't even if we wanted to, because the session VM doesn't report any of that back. We only see metadata: which browser you picked, which region, when the session started, and when it ended.

Are my Stripe payments secure?

Yes. Card details never touch our servers — Stripe Checkout collects them on Stripe's domain. We only ever see a payment intent ID. First purchases are challenged with 3D Secure, and disputes auto-trigger a kill-switch that bans the account.

> billing

Is this a subscription?

No. You buy a credit pack one time. Credits don't expire, don't auto-renew, don't get billed monthly. When you run out you decide whether to top up. That's it.

How much does it cost?

Three packs: $5 for 5 hours of session time, $15 for 25 hours, or $50 for 100 hours. The bigger the pack the cheaper per hour ($1.00/hr down to $0.50/hr). All credits never expire.

How am I billed during a session?

Per minute. The clock starts when your session boots and stops when you click End. Forgotten the tab open? Our watchdog auto-ends idle sessions after 5 minutes of inactivity so you don't burn credits while you're away.

Can I get a refund?

Yes — within 7 days of your first purchase, no questions asked. Use the contact form at mitryxa.com/report-issue (or open Stripe's Customer Portal directly from /settings).

> limits

How long can a session last?

There's no per-session time limit. As long as you have credits and the session is active (heartbeat every minute), it keeps running. The watchdog only ends sessions that have been idle for 5+ minutes.

Can I download files from inside the session?

Yes — into the cloud session. Saving a file out of the session onto your real device requires you to upload it somewhere (email, cloud drive) from inside the session. We're working on a 'Mitryxa Drop' feature that lets you bridge files in and out cleanly.

Can I use this on my phone?

Yes. The session viewer works in any modern mobile browser. Touch input works. Best experience on a tablet or large phone — small screens make navigating a desktop browser inside a tab a bit cramped.

Where do the sessions actually run?

On Fly.io machines in either Ashburn, Virginia (US East) or Frankfurt, Germany (Europe). You pick. We auto-pick the closer region by default based on your network location.

> the small print

Is this legal?

Yes. Cloud browsers are a normal class of product (Hyperbeam, Kasm, Browserling have been around for years). You're using ours. We're a US company (Glendale, California).

Do you support enterprise / team plans?

Not yet. Today every user is their own account with their own credits. If you want a multi-seat plan with shared billing and central admin, drop a note via mitryxa.com/report-issue — we're building it.

How do I delete my account?

From /settings → Danger zone (coming in the next polish pass — for now use mitryxa.com/report-issue and we'll wipe it for you). All session data and Stripe metadata is wiped within 30 days per GDPR.

How do I get support?

Use the contact form at mitryxa.com/report-issue. We answer within one business day. There's no chatbot wall.

Still on the fence?

Sign up takes 10 seconds. First session is on us. If you don't love it, we refund the first purchase, no questions asked.
